Welcome! I am a PhD student in Political Science at the University of Chicago, a member of the Chicago Center on Democracy and Transitional Justice and Democratic Stability Lab. I study comparative politics with a focus on comparative democratization, quantitative & computational methods and their applications to political science research. I received a BA in Economics and Business (Double Major) from Koc University, Turkey (2016) and an MA in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago (2018), before joining the PhD program in Political Science. I am the recipient of the Sakıp Sabancı International Research Award (2018). My work has been published in Presidential Studies Quarterly and Perspectives on Politics. |
